Submission of Scores

Composers wishing to submit their opera/music theater scores for consideration for performance should do the following:

1. Call the Center at 347-265-8943 to discuss their work with the director, Jim Schaeffer.
   
   
2. If it is agreed that a submission is possible send:
   
   1. a piano vocal score
   2. CD or tape, if available
   3. libretto
   4. information about the composer and librettist

Each item must have your name, address, phone number and e-mail address printed on it. A stamped self-addressed envelope for the return of the material must be enclosed.

The Center is particularly interested in receiving scores of works-in-progress or completed works of emerging composers who would benefit by having readings or workshop performances of these works.
